This is false. EDIT: Oh, and here's why. Using a sword against something that punches, you'll notice you parry bare fists sometimes. That trains enhanced parry. Now, using a sword against another sword wielder, you will not be training enhanced parry unless normal parry is mastered. EDIT 2: Just remembered out of nowhere, some weapons can only be parried using enhanced parry, so those will train enhanced parry no matter your parry skill as well. |

I'm..almost positive you can't get improves at EParry until you master Parry. I usually master PARRY on my characters by parrying bare fists while leveling(Generally in the Chancel). And after that, I finally start getting improves to EParry. |

It has been a while since I played my swashie, but I also seem to recall not getting any improvements to eparry til I mastered parry. I suppose though this could have changed. Maybe an Imm can weigh in on it? |

I can say with 100% confidence that has changed, and it is working exactly as j3r3myp1pp3n has mentioned in his edits. |

Logs or it didn't happen. I'm willing to bet that rodwen and the_me are wrong, even though i've never played a class with eparry. Produce a log in which a character improves at eparry, then types skill, and does not have parry mastered. |

I'll dig through mine monday when I get back to my SK machine, I am sure I actually have one where both improved during one combat. |
