Does Magical vestment have any affect considering a Griffon has fur? Or is it a complete waste of time. |

I don't know how many of the 7 + 1 eq slots are affected by magical vestment but it's more than zero. Likely, magical vestment is of lower use for a griffon but it is still of use. |

I am wondering if the toughness would be affected by the spell, considering griffons have fur. |

I imagine it would affect them up until their toughness bypasses what MV would give them. |

Toughness is not in addition to armor. In combat, toughness only takes effect if your armor sucks(Fur < Toughness AC) |

MV doesnt affect natural skin, fur, or hide I am pretty sure. I think I asked the same thing of centaurs about their legs back in the day. |

It does affect natural skin, it's a bit sketchy whether it stacks with toughness, though. |

It doesn't. Toughness is like, having new armor, which only comes into affect is if it is the highest AC rating. |

Yeah, but there's both AC annnnd what is the other thing, protective power? I'd guess fur/MV is protective power while toughness is AC. I am in no way an authority on this, it's just what I seem to have synthesized over the years. |
