1. Do human barbarians have a higher STR and CON cap than half-elves? Also, how much lower is their DEX cap?
2. Is a human's STR and CON bonus really high enough to give up a half-elf's dex and infravision?

Yes, humans have a much larger cap on str than helfs. They have a slight difference in Con. Helves has a slight difference in dex. Whether you think it is worth it or not is subjective. |

Thanks for the quick response, I'd also like to ask this... Just how important is infravision, does it completely suck not to have it? Will I be unable to see anything at all outside of cities at night? |

Lol, thanks. Also, one last annoyance.. actually two more. 1. Does a half-elf barb's dex allow them to dodge more often than a human barb? 2. If a half-elf barb and human barb fought each other (same level, same items, doing NOTHING but typing 'attack', no special moves or other variables of any kind), who would win the majority of the time? |

I think I remember hearing something about SIZE helping your chances of dodging, so to me, the helf is smaller... Sorry about the layzeeeee responses, imho infravision isn't important, you can always dress like a yiggmas tree... Someone tell me if I'm [REDACTED] or not about the size thing... |

both humans and helves are medium sized. Human is the better pick imho because infravision herbs are everywhere, you can make something glowing etc, because if a gm barb is going to be pk'ing they will be giant strengthed and hasted so max str/dex(lightning and herculean) anyways, and because helves get owned by cold iron weapons. Human > helf |
