If you try to do the death quest, and you fail, does that count against you getting the first time cost being free? |

You are only marked as having completed the quest the instant you are resurrected by going down the waterfall (this happens after you successfully complete a death quest). Failure or success in the death quest itself does not accrue future penalties. |

Failed the death quest and couldn't get brought back to life. I released and kinda got lost with the portals lol, am somewhere in northern wastes, guessing it's a long walk back home. I'm only low lvl (new to game in case ya didn't guess) but wil releasing my spirit affect con or anything? Hosel |

wtf?! Alright, did you recreate you char? Reincarnate? Nothing should affect your CON in the long run. If you de-level you might lose a stat point and that stat might be CON but once you level again you can train it back. |

what really really sucks is when you are age dead and you go do a death quest and fail it and get stuck in the swamp. You can't reincarnate, cant get a rez, manifest, nothing. The only way out is to trick someone into seancing you. |

Uhm, why would someone try to return to life after his mortal life ended because of old age?  But perhaps it could be arranged, that the death quest won't work at all when a ghost roams the afterlife after death of old age.
