That's OOC information that you have to go to third-parties for or ask someone in-game who pretends they didn't.

Grep's favorite past-time is trashing SK on its own forums.

The quality of items ranges from novice to grandmaster, with poor quality being near novice and near god-like being near grandmaster. Everything else fits in between the two, though there's no way of knowing exactly where (Also, the first 10 enchantments do not affect whether the item will be stolen by thieves).

Identify the item, see how much silver it is worth, and then divide by ten.

Some people think that will tell you its level. I have not done any testing to see if this is accurate.

I'm positive that that's untrue. Enchantments increase item quality, and can absolutely affect probability of being stolen by increasing the intrinsic value of an item (despite the coin requirement to purchase it not changing).

You're wrong, evena. Edoras is right.

It was changed in the spirit of having more complete characters at Master.

That's right, although I'd modify what Edoras said slightly.

The first 5 enchantments do not affect an item being stolen. Those five enchantments are equivalent to adding 10 levels to the item.

Show me a single instance of the item quality hierarchy even being enumerated on the official site and I will personally service you at the next meetup if you are ddf. I'll even let you decide what we wear.

It isn't trolling if it's the unadulterated truth. It's not (entirely) my fault if I can't find positive things to focus on about the game.
