If you don't want to bug board it, you can also typo log it and/or send an email to the corresponding KD through help wizlist.

So there is a quest with an upper level of Journeyman. You all probably know what it is -- there's a NPC that requires one to pass a test before entering a certain area. I came back at Veteran and asked for the NPC to administer the test but he just ignores me. I removed the NPC from the room and it still won't let me pass, which doesn't really make sense as there is nothing stopping me from walking by. So...

--Am I doomed to never be able to enter said area unless I lose five+ levels to take the test?
--Do quests actually become impossible to complete once you pass the upper level limit?

There's no limitation on quests as far as levels go. You may have just forgotten a keyword?

If memory serves and I know what quest you're talking about, you only get one chance to take it. Did you ask him to administer it before and then leave because you didn't know the answer? I wonder if that results in a failure of the test, and therefore, you can't try again.

The keyword was administer. I took the test once and failed, but thereafter every time I returned to the room he would remind me to ask him to administer the test again... except now that I'm Veteran, he flat-out ignores my pleas. I've tried a variety of words to get him talking. Quest is still on the quest list.

Either it was fixed or the problem was on my end, because it's working again. Maybe I was invisible?

Can anyone share any tips for learning languages? I know all of them but half the time I can't understand the specifics of quests. Some NPC will say, "I wbnt you tn takw thit to Kjompnol" and I have no clue if that's the right name or not.
