Can you go into negative mp with pixie dust, fury or frenzy, or do you stop at absolute zero?

Pretty sure you stop at zero. Dulrik has commented a couple of times on wondering why people would cast faerie fire on naked NPCs.

One thing I wonder, though, is whether you can lower innate "resistances" (e.g., elf/halfling) with faerie fire.

Dulrik has said that casting faerie fire on naked things is pointless. I am pretty sure that applies to magically resistant races as well and I assume fury can't bring you below 0 mp.

I'm not sure where or why I would have said that. Perhaps I was actually saying: "I don't understand why people would NOT cast faerie fire all the time?"

Can't find the post but I have a memory. Someone said they used it while leveling, I think, and you were all like "LOL newb."

And I, obviously, do not have a memory. Which is why google came into existence. You are right, I did say it was only useful in PvP and imply that it was useless against NPCs. But I was wrong. If I got high, I would blame it on being high, but as it is, I have no excuse. It does help even if the target has no MP and this time I even tested it so as not to pass on incorrect information.
