Prayers are not in color on my screen. I strip all CB's, prays, and other IMM stuff to a single color. It was so hard to read the CB's I just had everything in that was filling up that screen. I color all of my prayers red while other info is gray. That is so I can pay better attention to mortal prayers, when I am able to receive them.

I myself only pray IC wise.. Like praying to a god for RP reasons.. or religion reasons.. its all IC for me.. OOC prayers are strictly for other people.. I dont see it fit.

I try to avoid using prayer in an IC fashion idly. The IMMs already see a lot without a dozen IC prayers flying up at the same time. I will use it OOCly if somebody is being rather naughty. For example, players who log on with illegal names and do nothing but sexually harass or cuss out others. I will pray first and send a log later in hopes that a quicker solution may be found.
